Where templates live
From the Surveys page (admin sidebar → Surveys), click View Templates in the top right. The Survey Templates page shows three tabs:
All Templates: every template available to your organisation
Platform: templates ReFresh publishes and maintains
Custom: templates your organisation has built
Each template shows its name, category, status (published or draft), source (Platform or Custom), and last updated date. Use the search bar or the category dropdown to filter.
Platform templates
Platform templates are published, validated, and ready to send. They are aligned to ReFresh's psychosocial work-factor model: measuring both the factors that cause harm and the protective factors that buffer against it. Because they are read-only and standardised, results compare cleanly across surveys and against framework expectations.
Use a Platform template when:
You want a regulator-aligned starting point
You do not need to customise the question set
You want results that compare cleanly over time and against framework expectations
Not sure which to pick?: If this is your first survey, start with a Platform psychosocial template. It gives you a clean, comparable baseline you can build on. You can always create a custom template later once you know what you want to change.
Custom templates
Build a custom template when you need a survey that reflects your organisation's specific context, language, or priorities. Once published, custom templates appear in the same picker as Platform templates and can be reused across surveys. See Building a custom survey.
Picking a template when you create a survey
When you click + Create Survey on the Surveys page, the Create New Survey dialog asks you to:
Pick a Survey Template from the dropdown
Give the survey a name (for example, "Q3 2026 Psychosocial Health Assessment")
Optionally add a description
Click Create Survey. The survey is created in draft; you then add recipients and send it.
