Welcome to ReFresh: what the platform does

ReFresh is the operating system for psychosocial safety: a single platform that runs the full work health and safety (WHS) psychosocial compliance lifecycle, from identifying hazards through to board-ready governance reporting.

Written by Taylor Laing
  • Built around three pillars: Risk Intelligence, Safety Orchestration, and Governance and Evidence

  • Two interfaces: Admin for WHS managers, compliance leads, and administrators; My ReFresh for workers

  • The Home dashboard guides your setup through a five-step Safety Program

  • Worker-facing tasks (incident reports, surveys, document sign-offs) live in the My ReFresh portal

What ReFresh does

ReFresh covers the whole psychosocial compliance lifecycle in one place. That means identifying hazards through surveys and worker reports, assessing risks, putting controls in place and evidencing them, investigating incidents, recording worker consultation, and producing reports for your board and regulators.

The platform supports psychosocial WHS obligations across multiple jurisdictions (Australia, the UK, Canada, New Zealand, and Singapore) as well as the ISO 45003 international standard, aligning to the psychosocial hazard categories defined in the relevant codes of practice.

Everything the platform does falls under three pillars:

  • Risk Intelligence: measure psychosocial risk across your workforce. Run surveys, read the results, assess risks, and build your risk register.

  • Safety Orchestration: turn risks into action. Put controls in place and evidence them, handle incidents and investigations, consult your workers, run reviews, manage policies, and track the work as tasks.

  • Governance and Evidence: see your compliance posture at a glance, dig into analytics, generate reports, and prove your work with a full audit trail.

Who uses ReFresh

Two groups of people use ReFresh, and they see different interfaces.

WHS managers, compliance officers, and administrators use the Admin workspace to configure frameworks, manage risks and controls, investigate incidents, generate reports, and oversee compliance.

Workers use My ReFresh to report incidents (including anonymously), complete surveys assigned to them, and acknowledge policies and documents.

Users with admin permissions can switch between the two using the Admin / My ReFresh toggle in the top-right of every page. Workers without admin permissions only ever see My ReFresh.

How the admin workspace is organised

The Admin workspace opens on the Home dashboard and gives you a left-hand sidebar to reach each area of the platform. Grouped by the three pillars, the main areas are:

  • Home and Tasks: daily orientation and your personal action list

  • Risk Intelligence: Surveys and the Risk Register

  • Safety Orchestration: Controls, Records, Incidents and Investigations, Consultations, Reviews, and Tasks

  • Governance and Evidence: the Dashboard, Detection analytics, Reports, and your audit trail

Company, people, and integration settings sit behind the gear icon in the top-right. For the exact sidebar layout, see Logging in and navigating ReFresh.

Where to start

Your Home dashboard tracks progress through a five-step Safety Program: Foundation, Know Your Risks, Act on Your Findings, Complete the Obligations, and Go Further. It takes you from a clean install to inspection-ready.

For a structured walk-through, see Your first week: the Safety Program.
