Many ReFresh customers already operate a WHS or EHS platform such as SafetyCulture, Donesafe, or myosh. ReFresh sits alongside these systems as the psychosocial safety layer, not as a replacement.
ReFresh is the psychosocial layer; your existing WHS system is the physical safety layer
Donesafe is supported as an integration today; SafetyCulture and myosh coexist with manual data flow
Incidents flow into ReFresh from the existing WHS system; ReFresh handles psychosocial-specific investigation, controls, evidence, and reporting

Workers do not need to switch systems for psychosocial reporting if your existing system has a good front-end
Why this model exists
WHS regulation in Australia requires both physical and psychosocial safety management. Most existing WHS systems are excellent at physical safety (incidents, hazards, hazardous substances, equipment) but were not designed for psychosocial risk.
ReFresh is purpose-built for psychosocial. Rather than replace your WHS system (which would be disruptive and unnecessary), ReFresh runs alongside it, handling everything psychosocial.
How the data flow works
Incident reported in your existing WHS system (or through ReFresh's My ReFresh portal, depending on your configuration)
Routing: psychosocial incidents flow to ReFresh; physical incidents stay in the existing WHS system
Investigation in ReFresh: structured psychosocial investigation workflow including the Hierarchy of Controls assessment
Controls and evidence in ReFresh: psychosocial controls live in ReFresh's library
Reporting in ReFresh: psychosocial board reports and inspection packs
Donesafe (live integration)
Donesafe is supported as a live integration. It can act as a group source via the Group Sync feature (see "Connecting an HRIS", 2.5), and incidents can be routed from Donesafe into ReFresh.
To connect Donesafe:
Open the Integrations page.
Find Donesafe and click Connect.
Configure the routing rules.
Save.
SafetyCulture, myosh, and other WHS platforms
SafetyCulture and myosh are not yet supported as live integrations. Customers using these platforms typically:
Configure their existing system to route psychosocial incidents (by category) to a designated owner who logs them in ReFresh
Use CSV export from the existing system and import into ReFresh on a defined cadence
Receive ReFresh notifications via Slack or Microsoft Teams (see article 8.4)
For the long term, ReFresh is expanding the integration list. Use the Request Integration feature on the Integrations page to log a request for your specific WHS platform.
Requesting a new integration
The Integrations page includes a Request card ("100+ Coming soon"). Click Request to open the Request New Integration dialog. Provide:
Integration Name: the tool you want to connect (for example, "SafetyCulture", "myosh")
What does this tool do: a description of the tool's main functionality
Why is it important: why connecting it would benefit your team
Click Send Request. ReFresh prioritises new integrations based on customer demand.
