The dashboard (/app/dashboard) is your landing view as an admin. It pulls together where you are in your Safety Program, where risk is concentrating, what you owe, and how your psychosocial risk profile looks. It's organised into tabs across the top:
Home: your operational overview.
Psychosocial: your psychosocial risk analytics.
+ Add: a disabled stub for custom dashboards (not available yet).
There's a date-range selector top-right (default Last 30 days), so you can look at a recent window or widen it. The + Add tab is a disabled stub: custom dashboards are not available today.
The Home tab
Home is the operational view. It shows four things:
Safety Program: the guided onboarding ladder that walks you through setting ReFresh up, step by step (Foundation → Know Your Risks → Act on Your Findings → Complete the Obligations → Go Further). It tracks how far through setup you are, and when expanded it lists the next controls to address.
Hotspots: where risk or activity is concentrating across your organisation, so you know where to look first.
My Tasks: the action items assigned to you, so you can pick up work without leaving the dashboard. See Managing tasks.
Safety Indicators: headline metrics summarising your safety and compliance posture, split into Lag (outcomes) and Lead (predictors).
The Safety Program steps are clickable: The Safety Program step-circles double as shortcuts: clicking a step navigates to the matching area (for example, "Know Your Risks" opens the risk register). Do the underlying work in each module and the ladder updates.
The Psychosocial tab
The Psychosocial tab (/app/dashboard?tab=psychosocial) is your organisation-wide psychosocial risk analytics, aggregated from your surveys. It's divided into three sub-tabs:
Control effectiveness
Shows how your controls map onto the Hierarchy of Controls (a five-band pyramid titled "Hierarchy Of Controls Distribution", running Elimination → Substitution → Engineering → Administrative → PPE) so you can see whether you're relying on higher-order controls (eliminating or engineering out a hazard) or lower-order ones (administrative measures and PPE). It also surfaces a Categories On Target donut, Priority Gaps where control coverage is weakest, and a Hazard Control Posture table. See Using the Hierarchy of Controls.
Risk profile
Shows your psychosocial risk broken down by Work Factors, scored on a Harm vs Protective model: the factors driving harm alongside the factors protecting against it. This is the organisation-wide equivalent of the risk profile you see on an individual survey. See Reading survey results.
Work Factors: the current model: The analytics use a Work Factors model with dual Harm and Protective scores. This surface shows 12 Work Factors: Bullying, Harassment, Job Demands, Poor Support, Violence and Aggression, Fatigue, Lack of Role Clarity, Poor Change Management, Low Job Control, Inadequate Reward, Poor Organisational Justice, and Traumatic Events. (The "17 categories" you may see elsewhere is the broader risk-register hazard taxonomy, not this dashboard.)
Incidents
Shows incident activity across your organisation, so incidents are read alongside your survey-driven risk rather than in isolation. See Reporting an incident (admin view).
No whole-of-register heatmap: This tab is where your organisation-wide psychosocial risk and trend picture lives, aggregated from surveys. The risk register itself (/app/risks) is a flat list of your assessed risks, not a 5x5 matrix heatmap of the whole register. A 5x5 matrix (Likelihood and Consequence, with Low / Medium / High / Critical bands) appears only within a single risk assessment, to plot that one risk. The "+ Add" tab (custom dashboards)
The + Add tab is where custom dashboards would live. It isn't functional: the tab appears but is a disabled stub (clicking does nothing). For now, use the Home and Psychosocial tabs; there's nothing to configure here.
Not available yet: Custom dashboards are a planned feature. Don't rely on building your own dashboard view today.
