Logging in and navigating ReFresh

Sign in at app.refresh.tech with Google, Microsoft, or your email and password, then use the Admin and My ReFresh toggle to switch between the admin workspace and the worker portal.

Written by Taylor Laing
  • Login URL: app.refresh.tech

  • Three sign-in methods: Google, Microsoft, or email and password

  • The Admin / My ReFresh toggle (top-right) switches between the two interfaces

  • The Admin workspace lives under /app; the My ReFresh portal lives under /portal

  • Company and account settings sit behind the gear icon (top-right)

Signing in

  1. Go to app.refresh.tech.

  2. Choose how you want to sign in:

    • Continue with Google uses your Google Workspace account

    • Continue with Microsoft uses your Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) account

    • Or enter your email address and password directly

  3. Complete the verification step if prompted (a check to confirm you are not a bot).

  4. Select Sign in.

If your organisation uses single sign-on (SSO) through another provider (for example, Okta, JumpCloud, or another SAML or OIDC identity provider), entering your work email may redirect you to that provider to authenticate. Speak to your administrator if you are unsure which method to use. For how administrators set SSO up, see Setting up and managing SSO; if a sign-in fails, see Troubleshooting SSO and login.

Switching between Admin and My ReFresh

ReFresh has two interfaces:

  • Admin (/app): the compliance-admin workspace for WHS managers, compliance leads, and administrators

  • My ReFresh (/portal): the worker portal, available to every user in your organisation

The Admin / My ReFresh toggle sits in the top-right corner of every page, next to your name. Select Admin for the compliance workspace, or My ReFresh for the worker portal.

Workers without admin permissions only see the My ReFresh portal, and the toggle is not shown to them.

The admin navigation

The left sidebar groups the platform's areas by function. You will find:

  • Home: the dashboard and your Safety Program progress

  • Tasks: a personal action list of items assigned to you

  • Drive: your organisation's document library and content hub

  • Detection: Incidents (report, triage, and investigate) and Surveys (build, distribute, and read the results)

  • Risk Assessment: the Risk Register (identify, assess, and track risks) and Consultations (record worker consultation)

  • Compliance: Frameworks (activate and manage the frameworks that apply to you), Controls (the measures that mitigate your risks), and Records (the documents, policies, and tests that prove your controls are in place)

  • Governance: Reports (board-ready reporting) and Reviews (re-rate control effectiveness)

The Incidents item expands to Triage Queue, All Incidents, and Investigations. The organisation switcher and the sidebar collapse toggle sit in the top-left corner. The breadcrumb in the page header shows your current location.

Settings

Select the gear icon in the top-right to open Settings. The nav lists nine pages: Company, Employees, Groups, Org Chart, Invites, Billing, Assets, Incident Management, and SSO.

For what each page holds and how to configure it, see Company settings and global configuration.

Common issues and troubleshooting

If you cannot sign in, check the following:

  • The email address you entered matches the account your administrator created for you

  • Your single sign-on provider is online (try signing in to your Google or Microsoft account directly)

  • The verification step has completed; refresh the page if it has not

If you still cannot access ReFresh, contact your administrator. For more detail, see Troubleshooting SSO and login.
