Multi-site and multi-entity organisations

Larger organisations, whether they run several sites, divisions, or separate legal entities, model all of it inside a single ReFresh organisation using groups. There is no need for separate organisations or logins.

Written by Taylor Laing
  • Multiple sites and entities are modeled with groups, not separate organisations

  • Everything rolls up into one aggregate organisational view

  • The Company, Region, and Location group types drive location and jurisdiction scoping

How it works

Represent each site, division, or entity as a top-level group with the appropriate type, then build the structure beneath it with sub-groups. Group membership scopes data access and reporting, and frameworks can be configured per group, so each site or entity gets its own view while you keep one people directory, one sign-in, and one aggregate picture of your posture.

For the full detail of group types, hierarchy, scoping, and how to set multi-site and multi-entity structures up, see Creating and managing groups. For layering jurisdiction-specific requirements onto individual sites, see "Configuring frameworks per group or location".
