Using Drive (the content hub)

Drive is your general-purpose content hub, a place to author, store, and organise content that is not tied to a specific control or framework obligation. It is your working library for reference material and rich-content documents.

Written by Taylor Laing

Drive is not the same as Records: Records (/app/records) holds the formal evidence behind your controls and frameworks: documents, policies, and tests with statuses and renewals. Drive is a broader content hub for everything else. If a piece of content needs to serve as compliance evidence, it belongs in Records; if it's working or reference material, Drive is the place. A document authored in Drive can later be attached to a control, at which point it becomes a Record. See Records - documents, policies, and tests.

What the Drive page shows

Drive is a single library view with New and View Trash buttons, plus Search, Filter, and Sort. Each row shows:

Working with content

  • Create: use New to author a rich-content document directly in ReFresh's editor.

  • Tags: apply tags to group and find related content.

  • Trash: deleting an item moves it to Trash (a soft delete) rather than removing it immediately, so you can restore it if you need it back. Open the trash with View Trash.
